Spinal Cord Injury is a complex condition affecting many different areas of health (select your area of interest from the menu).

Members of the Spinal Cord Injury Research Evidence (SCIRE) Team have reviewed and rated the scientific research on Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) rehabilitation to make quality information more available and ultimately improve the health of people living with SCI.

In using SCIRE:

  • Practitioners can see what treatments have the strongest research support to help guide their clinical decisions.
  • Researchers and funding organizations can see where the gaps in knowledge are and identify their research priorities.
  • Policy-makers can become more aware of treatment evidence in SCI and make better funding decisions.
  • People with SCI and their families can better understand their care and available treatments.
