Clinical Features of AD

The medical student in charge of Mr. CM wonders what the signs/symptoms of autonomic dysreflexia would look like.
Describe the typical clinical features of AD.
-Reflex Bradycardia
-Paroxysmal hypertension greater than 20mmHg above baseline for that person
-Severe throbbing headache
-Feeling of anxiety
-Profuse sweating above the level of injury
-Flushing and piloerection (body hair “stands on end”) above the injury
-Dry and pale skin due to vasoconstriction below the level of injury
-Blurred vision
-Nasal congestion
-Cardiac arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation
